News Reports on Erika's Return

Hypermedia creator Tsuyoshi Takashiro (43) and actress Sawajiri Erika (21) left for London on the 29th of January and came back after an interval of about 3 months.

Sawajiri came down from a Virgin Atlantic airplane in Narita Airport at about 9:40 a.m. and was in the lobby by a two-shot much similar to the departure of January 4th. The camera coverage shows her walking briskly apart from a weary Takashiro, whom was told "Welcome home!" revealing a state of surprise from him.

But, Sawajiri's makeup bag suddenly fell out of her hand, and contents were scattered in every direction for an assumed distance of about three meters, leaving her with a stupefied expression for several seconds and then yelled "Oh, shit!" The first words she uttered since her homecoming were such vulgar words. Although she didn't use much English in public until now, her language ability seems to have improved greatly. It's rare to say such English in a public place, but her language ability seems to have improved remarkably and seemed to ease foreigners who worry about the amount of English speakers.

Her expression stiffened when reporters helped her gather her makeup together, she gave them all candy afterwards and said "I'm really sorry. Thanks for helping." while showing a lovely smile.

Afterwards she was asked a few questions, "Were you able to relax in London?" she said "Yes, I was able to relax." And "Is your next movie being prepared?" she answered "It differs." When asked "Where will you spend your birthday next month?" she answered "I will spend it in Japan."

September of last year, she appeared at a preview of her starring movie "Closed Note" where she answered with ill-humored remarks which developed into a sort of riot against her, but this year Erika seems to have changed and appears to be a kinder person. While leaving the airport she drew closer to Takashiro again. She will resume work for a CM photoshoot soon.

Such a naive female individual.
Pointless for blind, die-hard fans to defend for her

i dun see anything wrong with carrying a make up bag..and oh shit i dunno is it such a big deal at least it's not some worse word..and if ppl dun not like her, just pay no attention to her no point critsing her in front of her fans..

I don't pause to think about how I should curse in public for everyone =P
As for the make-up, it's not so much the carrying it that gets on my nerves so much as to why she cant just go without it for even one day. Sure, maybe she wants to look good and has a reputation for beauty to consider but occasionally it doesn't matter right?? If she had as much confidence as she has arrogance, then she wouldn't need that bucket of make-up.

wow, sljinu...
you've got a good point.
i don't think i'm going to buy her singles anymore.

Woah woah woah, I didn't mean to imply that lol. If her music is still good and enjoyable to listen to, then I would still go and buy her singles lol. She may not be such a great person anymore, but it doesn't necessarily mean her music/acting is also gonna degrade. I just think of her a bit like say Tom Cruise. Sure, he's a total jackass but since when did that stop me enjoying his movies?

ok first all, you guys don't personally know her. Your opinion towards her is completely based on news out there.

Anybody who insults Erika are obese and are jealous of her superior beauty and talents.

man, why can't they just leave her alone?! that was really no big deal!

Because this gal has effectively infected most parts of the world.
Even worse, this gal has become some sort of stereotype and the misguided youngsters are following suit.

Eveything about her -- her character, name etc. all associate to BAD elements.

Just leave her walk on her way.
The truth is misrepresented in reports about her. They are full with black lies and malice.
Why her monolog should be a problem??? I can't understand.
She didn't shout these words to other people. So it is not a big deal at all...
Why you ANTI fans are writing bad words about her in this fansite?

Anonymous April 3, 2008 at 9:29 AM

I totally agree, if you guys hate her, why are you even on this site?

Supporters AND loathers have the right to be on this platform and express their concerns and opinions, as long as the comments are not too extreme and radical.

There are people who want to know more about this gal so they visit this blog for updates. Many are on the neutral side but do not condone any substandard behavior so of course they will criticize.

Who says this platform is for fans only.

Why do so many people talk bad about Erika? You don't even know her personally! I don't give a f*** about the press. They only make mountains out of molehills! And I don't give a f*** if she yelled "Oh, shit!" when she dropped something, 'cause I would do the same in such a situation. She's beautiful and a very good actress. And that's why I like her!

Unfortunately, Japan is a country that emphasizes manners of various sorts. While the "oh shit" interjection is no big deal others don't think this way.

Plus, given her (quite) negative image, no wonder people bash her. It's all circumstances. And circumstances can be detrimental.

Tony, would you have stopped to think about how you would swear in public? If you had enough time to stop and think, wouldn't you rather think if it was a bad idea or not? I think it was really meticulous. Honestly, how many people would swear in a language other than their native tongue if they were seriously annoyed? Unless she had lived in England long enough to make english second nature for her, there is no way she would've said "Oh shit" automatically. She wanted to vent her anger in such a way that she could get away with it too. That's arrogance in my opinion as people aren't as stupid as she thought them to be, and anyone could easily research on the internet (for starters) what those words mean.
Then again, if she really didn't think about it, maybe she practised that phrase a lot in England.

sljinu, not that I'm defending Erika's behavior generally, but it's not that weird to swear in foreign language, especially in English, which is very common. I haven't lived in England, USA or whatever, but I do it, just because I have a lot of contact with this language, so in that case I think that it wasn't because of arrogance, just out of habit.

OMG, she has just cursed, what's the big deal... anyway, at least she said "I'm really sorry. Thanks for helping". I think it's a good thing XD lol
