Erika's Best Actress Nomination

Today the Tokyo Movie Reporter published the list of the 70 nominations for the Blue Ribbon Award. Sawajiri Erika has been nominated as "Best Actress" for her role in "Closed Note." Takeuchi Yuuko, from the same movie, has been nominated as well. The complete list of nominations for "Best Actress" would be Asou Kumiko, Uchida Yuki, Satou Eriko, Sawajiri Erika and Takeuchi Yuuko.

Or course. These kinds of decisions are judged by the works and NOT the artist's real demeanor.

Some years ago, a certain Indiam guy received a Nobel prize for his efforts in literature (if memory serves me correctly). He has been busted for whoring but he explained that for every act of this he's been given a lot of consolation, and subsequently, inspiration in his work. The Nobel Prize Commitee later stated that the decision was judged by his works and not his character.
